May 26. Air temp here in Southwestern Ontario high 70's maybe early 80's. Weather buoy in the middle of the lake said air temp 69 water temp 66 and wave height was 0.0 ft (very unusual)

Kathy and I made a couple bunwiches, cut up a bunch of veggies, made a bucket of lemonade and off we went for the first boat ride.

We were slowed down a little at the single boat ramp as the guy who had just launched (we were third) could not get it started although he said it had started just fine at home. Anyway onto the lake and it was like glass. We went to an area called the grassy which is about 4 to 5 feet deep and tossed in the anchor and a pool thermometer.

Couple lazy hours, had lunch, pool thermemeter said 75 so in we went.

All in all an absolutely outstanding day, maybe we are going to have a good season this year.

Happy and safe boating to all!

Sounds fantastic! I sure wish the rain would stop down here. It's been cold and wet all spring. Forecast for the weekend is mostly sunny and upper 60's, so might have to head out and assume this is the best we're gonna get for a while.
