I am looking at purchasing a 1996 Baja 208 Islander with a Bravo 1 outdrive. This would make me a first time owner. In researching online, some sites say that to check the outdrive oil, I simply pull out the two plugs (drain plug is in front of the impeller). Yet on other sites, it says I have to pull the prop to get at the plug. This boat is 3 hours away so I'm trying to do my homework before making the drive. Does anyone know which style it will be? Also, if I do have to pull the prop (s.s.), do they usually come right off, or could that end up being a pain?

Thank you!

Ayuh,.....

I believe the drianplug on the Bravos is just behind the Prop,...
And,..
The Prop should just slide right Off,...
Unless the shaft Wasn't Greased before it was installed....
