Outdrive "leak" w/ photo...is this normal?

I noticed a steady stream of water coming from the side of my alpha I outdrive this afternoon when I had it hooked up to the muffs..is this normal?

Normal. That is the hole that lets the drive drain the water out.

Not only normal, but required.... When you do the water pump impeller service, always make sure that drain hole is clear... They sometimes fill with dirt and crud, block up and cause damage to the housing...
