OUTBOARD REPOWER ?"S 75-115 hp

I am going to be repowering my boat I WILL BE BUYING SOMETHING IN THE 75 TO 115 HP RANGE.i have a couple ?'s to help me start to decide on what size and make . 1. my boat is rated for 115 hp is it okay to get a 115 or go a little smaller ,if i go w/ a 4 stroke what size would be good. 2. I am look ing at a yamaha 90 hp and a johnson 90 or 115 hp any thoughts on these motors 3. i'm not that concerned w/ fuel economy is it better to go with carbs not fuel inj. and keep it simple ??? thanks for the input

Get the 115hp..You will not regret it. You can always slow down but you cant go faster!

i take it you mean the johnson 115 , is that the difference between the johnsons and evinrudes is one has carbs and the other is fuel inj.??? any thoughts on the yamaha 115 vs the johnson ???
