outboard question

I have a 1985 mercury 90 tower of power. It has come time to eather put money in to it or dump it. if I got a newer 2 stroke not dfi or 4 stroke would it bet better on gas then my 6 cylender crow flow 2 stroke?

not enough to warrant the cost. do the maintenance on the one you have.

That's a great motor. New plugs and wires might do the trick, along
with a can of Sea Foam. When thet motor is hummin' at about 4300
to 4500 rpm, nothing else in the world matters. You know then, that
somebody did something right, at sometime, so enjoy it.
