After years of fighting ny steering, I wanted to know if anyone has any experience with power or any other steering improvements for outboard engines, for a force 150 hp.

Re: Outboard Power Steering

The hydrolic steering systems work good on my boats. It does not feel like the rack and pinions as far as control and sensitivity, but I have gotten used it. Check your marine supply house.

OMC and Hynautic made a true power steering (different than hydraulic). They both work well but are pretty expensive. I wouldnt recommend it on boats over about 50 mph.

Good luck!

I have installed over a dozen sea star systems, and they work awsome. Just my 2 cents.
