outboard peeing

2001 Yamaha 25 hp,electric start, running the engine with the earmufs on engine has a good stream , however about every thirty or forty seconds for a split second it stops peeing ,the stream continues to be strong . I am not sure why, could it be the empeller????

Humble, Most of the small Yamahas do that. The thermostat opens and closes constantly whereupon the peeing stops and starts. Kinda like us as we get older. nevjb
