Where does a person find tools ---especially ring sqeezer set for inline merc 6 cylinder .. new or used ---if found what would be the price ----or can a different set of ring sqeezers be subtituted??????
I think the ring compressors you are referring to are only available from Mercury. You could get them from any Mercury dealer. I think you will find them to be too expensive though if you only require them for a one time rebuild, something like $75 US each x 6 = $650. It is possible to assemble one of these inline motors with two pairs of hands and some choice words.
