Outboard Motor Stand Question

Hi all I have a question and would like to thank everyone in
advance for all the help and adivce, again thank you.

I just bought a 4stroke Mercury outboard motor and it is
real heavy, not like my old Johnson. Is there a motor stand that I
can get to help me mount and unmount the motor when I need to?
I'm alone and the motor is dangerous for me to handle by myself. I'm
hoping to find a motor stand that raises and lowers the engine so
I can get some help handling it.

Thanks
Roscoe

Re: Outboard Motor Stand Question

some of the professional have some. very expensive. suggest a eyebolt in the center of the garage door and a winch. put the motor on a stand with wheels.

Happen to see this on Craigslist, but may be more then you need?

Can't seem to get the link to work. So go to Craigslist.org, then go to PORTLAND, then BOATS and do a search for MOTOR TOTERS
