Hi,
Where is the best place to buy a New small outboard? I'm looking for a motor between 4 and 7hp. I'm not really hug up on brand's at this point, but I am trying to decide between 2 stroke and 4 stroke engines. Thanks any help is appreciated.

Ace,

Check out the engines for sale on this website.

If you are comfortable doing your own work-you do not have to be fussy about a dealer. If you're not, a good dealer is more important than the brand.

The 2-stroke portables have the advantage of being considerably lighter than their 4-stroke counterparts. This is particularly important in a portable since you have to pick it up ;) Many of the small (5hp and under) outboards are made by Tohatsu for other manufacturers.

E-mail me direct if you would like a quote on a mercury at trevorcday@hotmail.com
