Hi; this is my first post...hope I get this right; I have a 20' motor boat with Honda 90hp outboard. 2 fuel tanks (1 under each seat) that meet at a Y-valve under floor...select 1 tank or the other...after valve, there is a primer ball. the deal is the ball will deflate...then not re-inflate...flow disturbed, engine will power down at high speeds b/c lack of flow. happened at end of last season, replaced the ball...seemed to work fine for 2 weeks...just happened again; tested air valves on each tank, seem clear. any advice? Thanks much-

Re: outboard motor fuel line problem

Is there a fuel filter before the primer bulb, if so, then check the filter to make sure it is clear, or replace the fuel filter.
