HMMMMMMM.......... you might want to give a little more info about your specific O/B. Sometimes there might be a few common problems to check for when servicing your specific type of motor. This forum has a lot of experience on just about all types of motors. Ex. Important places to lube that are prone to problmes,etc. GIve us year/brand/hp/history of previous maintencance you have done. <br />Good luck

I would also recommend getting a clymer manual for you specific outboard. It covers this problem and a lot of others. Only about $27-30.00 and it pays for itself the first time you winterize. Good Luck
