A prevous owner ef my Custom made wooden 30' cruiser took off the inboard engine and equippped it with a 15HP Mariner outboard, which does a reasonable job and will take me at a maximum of 5.5 knots.<br />Unfortunately, the system built to raise and lower the engine is not very nice and besides is not very efficient (takes two to operate it.)<br />I have been looking for appropaite brackets but the largest vertical travel I could find was around 14", while currently my engine travels about 25" (it does have a long shaft).<br />Any suggestion where I could find the needed bracket or ideas on a lifting system?<br />Thanks,
