Outboard and brackish water.

Once I get my boat running I want to go to NC and fish the Cape Fear River and Snow?s Cut Intercostal Waterway, both are brackish water.

I have read that you should flush the motor after every time out. My problem is we will be camping and I can go thru the carwash and spray the boat off, I?m just not sure I can flush the motor at the campground and if not it will be five days till I can flush with fresh water.
Will it hurt to wait for five days to flush it?

5 days won't hurt a thing, flush it when you get home. have a good trip!
