Out of boats and getting into stand up jet skis. What would you buy for $2k & under?

I am about to purchase another standup ski. I have rode them for years, but have not rode one in 3 years now. I am trying to stay under $2k cash if possible. I found a clean 90 Superjet that is mostly stock that I can buy for $925, or would you go with a Kawasaki 650 or 750? I wish I could afford an SXR. That was a sweet ride when I rode it last. Thanks for your opinions. Also let me know if you know of any good forums for standup guys as well.

If I could go back and do it again, I'd do it right and get a SuperJet with a 701. I'd forget about the 650 and anything smaller. I ended up getting a 750 and while I really like I wish I'd gotten a SJ.

If you want to go fast race style than an SXR is a great choice behind a Polaris Octane.

The good part about a 650 SJ is that the bottom hull is same as the Pre 08 RoundNose, so a 701 can be put in later with good results.
