Having outdrive problems. Every time I put boat in reverse the outdrrive comes up out of water. When it's in drive it's fine it stay in water. Do I have hydrolic problems? Where do I start?

Re: Out drive problems

You have air in the trim cylinders instead of hydraulic fluid.

Take a look at your trim reservoir - I'll bet it is empty.

What are you working on? Year and serial number (of the engine and drive, not the boat) please... Depending on the model, the problem could be a number of things...
