I can't quite read the numbers on my tag. The guy I bought the boat from never cleaned the bottom, never. I have tried to go slow cleaning it because I'm not sure if the numbers are stamped in or painted on. I can read that it is a SX-M. My question is, how do I know if it is an early model or later? I have a hole in the water hose from the lower unit to the transom. And wouldn't you know, it's a different hose in both diagrams.

Funny, I can read the numbers on the picture but can't hardly see them in real life.

There is no gimbal housing parts diagram in the store here for my out drive, either that or technology is beyond me yet again. I'm looking for the bellows and the water hose between the lower unit and the transom. Any help would be great.
