I have A 99 Mercury 200 EFI. I am trying to find out what is the best oil to run in the injection on this motor. I have heard that Quicksilver synthetic is the best from some shops and then some shops say it is not for oil injection systems. At this time Im am useing Quicksliver Premiem in this motor. If anything is better please let me know.

Re: Out board oil

The label on the quicksilver container should tell you if it is for your engine.

I personally am of the club that if you are happy with the oi; you are using, your engine is happy with it.....Stick with it and don't swap oils. If not.... Find a brand you like and stick with it. (just my .02 worth).
