OSCO Manifold on an OMC 120

So, I find a good manifold for my OMC 120 - It'a an OSCO just out of the box, paint still on the mating surfaces. I think to myself, "I'll call in sick on Friday 'cause this thing is goin' in the water."<br /><br />Well, it didn't work quite that easy. between the forward exhaust/intake port and again at the last set, the ports are too close together to get a wrench or socket on the nut. OSCO must have some solution in mind but I can't figure it out. Anyone here seen this?

I've had similar clearance issues on some outboards...My tool box contains several box end wrenches with the closed end ground down to minimal tolerances. Not a very elegant solution, but werks for me!
