OSCO EXHAUST ELBOW for 1999 Volvo 4.3L?? Will it fit?

Hi all!

I currently have an OSCO 50456 exhaust elbow in my stocky and it looks like it fits onto a V8 and V6 engine. The only trouble is that each current riser (on a 1999 4.3 GS engine) has a hose attached to it (it's an original Volvo, PN 3857402) and the osco has no hose inlet, only 2 painted brass plugs. I looked on their website, that's the ONLY riser for V8 and V6 engines they got.

Any suggestions? Take out the plugs & make a hose inlet or? Or is it impossible to use the osco exhaust elbow?

That is what they (plugs) are there for.

Thanx guys... The only thing that bothers me is that i don't know if the hole where the plug is sitting atm has threads or not. If i take the plug out and there are no threads, it will be a pain in the a** to get another plug that holds the water in.

GLM is different though. Their plugs can be easily removed - threaded holes.

The plugs should be threaded in.If they are the brass smooth freeze type dont take them out.Jerry

Ayuh,......

If you can put a Wrench On them or In them,.... They're Threaded......

If you Can't,....... They Ain't.......
