Optimax trolling question

Hello! Have heard opinions regarding trolling extensively with my 2002 Optimax 135 and the damage that could result...Was wondering how you guys feel about it since you are not trying to sell me a trolling motor. Mercury says use their DFI oil and Fish On. Anyone? Thanks

You'll save gas with a kicker. Quieter, too. Fish are skiddish enough as it is. Opti's will troll okay, but that's a whole lotta motor for a itty bitty job.
