Have a small oil leak on my 2004 115 Optimax. Had it out tonight and ran perfect, but noticed the oil when I took the cowl off at home. Pictures show where oil is leaking. In the first picture, it shows where the oil was pooling up. In the second, it looks like the oil is coming out of a seam where two pieces come together, maybe a leaking gasket. Maybe there's a loose bolt that is causing both? I had a small mirror back in the area where it's pooling up and there is a bolt back there. It seems to be in a similar area where the oil is coming from. Not enough oil leaking to create any sign in bottom of cowl area. The two areas looks to be getting their oil independently of each other.
Checked compression tonight and all three cylinders were about 110 +/- 1 psi. Had no alarms tonight and had no problem pushing 5500 rpms at WOT. Checked spark plugs and they looked good.
I'll probably bring it in to have it looked it but any thoughts before hand are appreciated!
