Guess who is Downunder at the moment. Oprah (I can't believe it, she is even in spell-check!!)

Anyway, she is here for a couple of weeks, having a 'tour', then 2 shows today, then apparently a private holiday.
Bought a truckload of her American fans (seems to be all sheilas) with her too.
They split them up into quite large tour groups and sent the "off to see Okkerland".
They seem great people when I see them interviewed on TV.

I don't have anything negative to say, as i admire anyone who succeeds, especially when they bring pleasure to others.
Having said that, i have trouble believing people can be so devoted to her. If it gets that bad here, IU can't imagine what it must be like in your land!

Anyway, she seems a really nice genuine person and I hope she enjoys her time here.

Cheers
Phillip
Forgot to mention. Hugh Jackson did a flying entry to her stage (literally - on a flying fox - real long fast ride too) and something went wrong with his brake, and POW!! he did himself a little damage, on the stage, directly about Oprah. That's how you start a show!!

She's here? Really? I didn't notice. Nothing about it on the news or talk shows (NOT!).

X 10 (or whatever number we are up to?!?!)

She seems like a nice person and a real humanitarian, but her cult=like following is a bit scary, as are some of her views (we won't go into those ... don't want to lock the thread).

I'll give her creds for going from nothing, to probably the most powerful woman in the world.

Decided what she wanted to do and did it.

Thats what the American dream is supposed to be all about.
