Opinions on drum brake actuators

Which one(s) are best? I need to replace mine whish is an Atwood. Should I stay with this brand or change to another? Thanks.

To be honest, I would install whatever one requires the least amount of fabrication.

Unless the mechanicals of the actuator are damaged, you can replace just the master cylinder. But if other related parts are damaged, you may as well do like DJ said and replace it with whatever fits best and requires the least amount of drilling.

It's easiest to replace it with the identical part. It may be eaiest to find a "Tie Down" brand at a local dealer.

Thanks all. The housing is badly rusted. So I may replace the whole unit. First I'll try cleaing it up. It sounds like Atwood is a decent brand so I'll stay with the original equipment.
