Opinions on bayliners

I am recently looking at a 221/2 foot bayliner with a 5.8L OMC Cobra engine. Does anybody have experience with bayliners and could offer any advice on what to look and watch out for. Thanks

Well I have a 2150 Bowrider of 87 Vintage.<br />Only has a 3.0L OMC but it has a bathroom. Have 4 kids so that was a must. Good on gas and perfect for skiing and towing the kids.<br />First boat and made a couple of rookie mistakes buying that cost me some money for electrical repairs and had to do some trailer maintenance this spring but so far all is great this year.<br />Alot of people bash bayliners for many reasons, mostly shoddy workmanship but my boat isn't scared of the water yet so I am happy.<br />Live and learn.
