Had a guy tell me that armour-all and other similar products are bad for the vinyl in boats. Is this true and if so what should I use? What do you guys recommend to keep the interior looking new?

Thanx in advance!

3M company and the 303 company, both make excellent vinyl cleaners and protectants.
Whichever you decide to use, read and follow the instructions.
Armorall has received quite a bad rap over the years. Whether or not it is deserved, I have no idea. Since other products are available, I just stayed away from it.

Charles

From what I have heard armorall will work great if you keep using it. If you stop for a month or 2 it will speed up cracking and drying out of the vinyl.

Protectorants may help some but the only sure way is to keep it out of the sun as with a cover.
