Hoping to finally get this old dog running. I picked up a skiff with a 2000 Johnson 50, didn’t hear it run before I purchased it but he had a video of it running and I checked compression (120 psi on both cylinders). Got it to the house with fresh fuel and I’m only getting spark in one cylinder. I have tried 3 different power packs (the one that came on the motor, and 2 sent to me by a parts supplier on eBay). I have read many posts here about it being the power pack, what are the chances all 3 are bad? Is there anything else it could be? Any help is greatly appreciated.

expert will chime in.... but probability wise hopefully you don't have 3 bad power packs so you need to backtrack

you have other components to check out ( coil-and all the FW mounted contributors to the ignition process

see this utube on a similar "older" situation where both plugs did not fire.
