Hello all!

I have ramped and de-ramped almost a zillion times and then what happened? I was at a new ( to me) ramp and backed in to retrieve my boat and the right wheels of the trailer dropped into an enormous hole. The boat was a real pain to get on the trailer cuz it bunked on the left side first which shifted the boat off center. Finally got it by overcompensating. Any tips? (i want to use the ramp again) :) :)

Re: one side drop off

I am going to assume you can't simply move to one side or the other to avoid the hole . . .

You can try keeping your trailer higher and get the boat "stuck" first. Then, if you have a partner, SLOWLY back down the trailer and crank the winch real hard at the same time. This way the bunks are possibly lined up between the strakes BEFORE you fall in the hole. Does that make any sense? If the trailer falls in the hole before you could even get the boat stuck on the bunks then I'll have to noodle some more . . .
