That clown fishes out of Sanibel, he's considered kind of a joke around here. And as stated, you will break rods laid on the edge of your gunnel when they're stressed like that, I've broken rods on fish too but it's either been a defect in the blank or by high sticking the fish.

Love when he had the rod butt between his legs..watching him struggle to crank..

And any buffoon knows not to lay your stick on the side of the boat!..Seen tunas break both sticks and spirits when guys do that!
