One fine summer day I took my nephew and his friends water skiing, when low and behold the boat quit! I thought I smelled something burning, I looked and saw a ship's smoke on the horizon, that must be what I smelled, I thought! Well it wasn't, it was coming from my wiring! Well the boys flagged down a small cabin boat, it came over, 4 Russians with bait cut up on the motor cover of what used to be a nice cuddy cabin. I handed them my rope with anchor attached, we got tied up and ready to get going, just then, a bow rider came by with 4 or 6 girls in bikinis waving and smiling, it was too late, we were already hooked to the Russians who started going right at that instant. My nephew said no! stop! let them (the girls) pull us! but the Russians kept going. A few minutes later the Russians ran aground coming into the channel near Sister Key inlet (Fort Desoto), I was thinking we will all need a tow before this is over, but luckily it was just a sand bar. I gave the Russians $20 at the dock.
