Hey guys I have all of my accessories (lights, radio, fishfinder) wired up to my starting battery. Actually I do a lot of electric only fishing, so my "starting" battery is actually a deep cycle battery. Sometimes when I get home its fully charged, sometimes it is drained, depending on big motor usage. I am not interested in having another battery onboard. If I get a dual bank onboard charger could I hook it up to both of these batteries and not risk frying the charger or batteries? I was also concerned about the motor sending a charge back to the charger while on the water. Any ideas fellas?
