i got a onboard battery charger and it is hooked up to my 2 trolling motor battery's, is it ok to leave the battery charger hooked up to the 2 battery's and turned on and chargeing the 2 battey's all the time? the onboad charger i got has 2 lights on it 1 that will show power on 1 light that will show chargeing, will this make the battery not last as many years keeping it pluged up all the time to the battery's? or will it not hurt the battery's at all? to me i think it will be ok to keep the charger hooked to the battery's and on all the time this why it would make sure there fully charged up all the time, but i was just seeing what you all think is right?

It/They should shut off when the batteries are charged.

No worries.

Check the battery water often, to be sure.
