I was cleaning the bottom of my boat with ON/OFF and a huge gust of wind came and ripped my plastic sheet off (which I was using to protect trailer from acid). Is there anything I can use to get the oxidized spot off of galvinized trailer. The spot turned black and then turned white. I hope I can fix if not oh well.

scrub it really well, and they make a galvinized spray paint that welders use to touchup. any trailer shop should have it. here's a link clearcoproducts.com/cold_galvanize_sprays.html

Re: ON/OFF on trailer

I guess it's a visual thing for you. My galvanized trailer has had On/Off all over it for the past 6 years. And while my trailer isn't beautiful anymore, it hasn't caused it to rust or anything. So I guess you don't have to worry too much about that.

Thanks guys, It is more visual than anything but the trailer is a 2006 which was only two weeks old when this happened. I just figured I would ask.

Thanks for the link
