I have been replacing a few reels while Im waiting for the rain to stop this year and have sold a couple old reels on Ebay! I just listed a 25 year old Quick 600B Narrow spool baitcaster that I had on my flippin stick! It was in excellent condition! I also had all the paperwork and the original box! I would have been happy getting $10.00 for it, I only paid $20.00 for it new! But I got $52.00! Someone must have been caught up in the frenzy!

damm quick?... damm right! LOL collectors buy based<br />on rarity (sp) and condition, not to fish with.<br />got MY eyes open on Ebay for a nice Mitchell 402<br />to fish with

Which was the Mitchell 402, was it a open face reel?<br /><br />The 2 reels I'm missing are Mitchells my dad bought in the 70's. They were open face reels, medium tackle if I remeber right.

I have several old (Garcia built) 300's and 308's.<br /><br />Never had a 402.

DJ, all I use for Bass is the Mitchell 300's.<br />still got MY dad's old one
