My OMC only runs at 3000 and it seems it is not running at its full potential, from half throttle to full throttle there is no difference but it idles nice and works great up to half throttle, it's an 1980 carb 2.5 omc and what speed should it go it's in an 16 foot peterbough fiberglass boat.
