while being the good son and visiting my mother in northern wisconsin for mother's day, her neighbor mentioned to me that his evinrude was in the shop but was quite distraught because although the ob should be under warranty, because of the aquisition of omc by bombadier of canada the warranty was not being honored.<br />i find this hard to believe. johnson and evinrude have had generations of loyal users.<br />i think this would be a rough start for a company to maintain that loyalty.<br />is this warranty issue true?<br /><br />esox
