OMC to Volvo

Hello gentlemen, I was thinking about switch over my OMC sterndrives to Volvo Penta, anybody know if this is possible? and know where to look on the internet for some info, I cant seem to find it on here, thanks oh by the way, the outdrives are old *1978* I'm tired of problems

It's not possible with the stringers.
