OMC to Mercruiser Conversion

I have 1969 OMC 150 hp - 225 CID - V6 with fresh water cooling system and I would like to put the fresh water cooling system on my Mercruiser which is a 305 v8. Can I even do that?

I doubt the heat exchanger would have enough capacity for your V8-even if you could cobble the plumbing up. Better off buying the proper San Juan kit.

Ayuh,... Cobbing it together Ain't too awful bad, But I agree it probably ain't Big enough...
