OMC SEADRIVE WATER INGESTION #2

Ref: Snapshot's 1996 115hpJohnson Fastrike Posting, and my Seadrive Water Ingestion Posting. My 1987 Seadrive is a 115 hp v-4 crossflow. Could same thing{s} be happening to mine? Over the 1 1/2 year course to date of my problem, fouling of #4 cyl was occuring. On one of the teardowns, exhaust cover gasket was failed in vicinity of #4. Also, it appears to me that the seadrive does tilt to a partically steep angle. I'm trying to make sure I don't miss any causes.

dave seadrive,<br /><br />Did you see signs of H2O ingestion? i,e, rust or corrosion?<br /><br />If so, I would suggest that you have a similar concern. Is there anything on your transom that throws up a spray?<br /><br />Make sure your cowling gasket is in good condition and your intake plumbing is tight and in good condition.
