I have a 1986 OMC #3148 Remote Control. Can't pull handle out to disingage throttle function from gear shift. I think it has to do with the recoil spring metal tab that's out of position and probably bent (someone tried to pry the handle out?). Anybody have any experience with this type of problem. Is it fixable? Are there parts still available? What would be a suitable replacement remote control? Thanks
