Re: OMC Props
Howdy,
What you want to see is if the prop shaft size is the same or different. Merc has some with different and some with the same so it can get frustrating. If you search omc props even on ebay I bet you can see by the posts if it is good for outboards or I/O or both. There are a bunch of things to consider when propping. You need to find out what your WOT (wide open throttle) rpm rating is. Then you need to prop to match your rpm needs. Too much rpm is bad and so is too little. In general a lower pitch prop is better for holeshot more rpm, and a higher pitch prop is for speed lower rpm. Figure out your needs , do you like to ski, zoom around, ect. Many times having two props is the best option, you can meet all your wants then.

Good Luck!!
