OMC gear case oil

My shop manual does not show what type of gear oil for the upper and lower case for the OMC 1976 I/O sterndrive. Help needed please?
Special marine oil?
Different viscocity for upper and lower?

I believe it's 80/90W same in both.You could spend a lot on special oils but any will work.J
