Just bought a 1999 Evinrude E40PL4EE with total of 85 hours use. Noted in the Owner's manual that you're advised to keep spare fuses aboard. It uses Evinrude or OMC P/N 505723 15-amp for fuel pump and P/N 505726 30-amp for the ECU, trim tilt switch, rectifier/regulator. Do not find these available anywhere!

What's a fellow to do in this situation? Any learned advice would be much appreciated.

Both are standard, blade type automotive fuses.
Use existing fuses to determine case size

Your local SUZUKI dealer likely will have those fuses.-----They built that motor.

They are no longer available as OMC spares .

They are available as Suzuki parts, but if they are standard automotive blade fuses there should be no problem obtaining them anyway.

It is surprising that your dealer could not supply suitable alternatives or direct you to a source

Dealer help varies.----If not listed on the computer screen many dealers stop helping.----No $$$ in researching / giving advice.
