OMC Electric Primer Lever & Service Valve Replacement - then Issues

This spring I noticed the red lever on my electric primer was cracked and leaking fuel when the primer was activated. I replaced the lever and primer cap with a Sierra Service Valve Kit p/n 18-7044. Problem solved until I went to use the Schrader Valve for fogging the engine this past weekend. The Schrader Valve would not admit the OMC Fogging Oil using the dispensing tube. I tried three different OMC Fogging Oil Injection Valve-Hoses on my spray can). Is my Schrader Valve bad or is there an issue with an O-ring or gasket in the replacement cover? Years ago, you could unscrew the Schrader valve stem a little to ensure activation, but I’m not at my boat to see if that is possible. Any experience or thoughts as to resolution?

No, I didn't and never did over the past 17 years I've been using OMC fogging oil or engine tuner. Somehow/someway it readily accepted the fluid in the past with the lever in line with the solenoid's body length. I was always careful to be sure I didn't move it to the manual position when unscrewing the Injection Valve.

Insert the eyes wide open emoji !

Thanks for the wake up call and I'm happy I don't have an issue to fix! I have to see if I kept the old valve for a post mortem inspection. On Saturday I resorted to spraying the fogging oil directly into the carbs.

Thanks again racerone!

Is there a BRP part number for a replacement Schrader service valve lever? The valve in the Sierra Service Valve Kit p/n 18-7044 will not accept fogging fluid in the running or manual position.
The electric primer works fine for engine starting, but will not accept fogging fluid. Is the problem something other than the Schrader valve lever?

You have to turn it to manual to use injection feature
Thanks, but I tried it in both positions and it wouldn't take the fogging fluid. My original Schrader valve worked fine (until it cracked), and I tried multiple OMC injection hoses on the can. Possibly, the valve stem needs adjusted outward to actuate the valve stem? I didn't have time to analyze it, I ended up fogging through the carburetor throats. Trying to resolve this for engine tuner in the spring.
