OMC Cobra 3.0 trim line repair/replacement

I have a 1992 Four Winns with a 1992 OMC Cobra 3.0 litre. Both of my trim hoses have melted and are leaking close to the connection at the pump. Is there a fix for this other than replacing the lines? Or, if I have to replace them can I do so without removing the engine? I can see the ends of the lines at the transom, therefore if I am able to loosen the nuts will they come out? Please any help at all. Thanks

The OEM part's not available anymore.
How'd they melt?
Take out what's left and take to any hydraulics shop and have them make up one.
PB BLASTER. Start spraying the connections.
Spray for a few days then try.
Use line wrenches.(no cheap ones)
