OMC Binacle Controls Question

I am hooking up the controls onto 1978 Evenrude.<br /><br />The controls are out of a 1980-1990 which have tilt & trim. <br /><br />On this I have a plug. <br />it has Green Red and Blue.<br /><br />Another plug comes off which is a half round, there is a purple black and grey wire. <br /><br />Does anyone know what the half round plug is for?<br /><br />thanks, Ron
