OMC 800 Rotation change.

Hi,I have a 1984 27 Sundancer with 2 V6 engines an OMC 800 drives.Both are R/H rotation.Want to change one to L/H rotation.Does any of You have done this or know if this is possibel?I know with the newer drives it is .Any help welcome<br />Thanks<br />Roland

cant say for sure on omc but on merc you need a different outdrive built for LR use<br />a lot of money on an older boat<br /><br />tommays

OMC/BRP/VOLVO can be changed by linkage arraingement.Older OMC require a counterrotating lower unit to do this.<br />DHP
