OMC 800 DRIVES OIL ?

Should I use OMC Hi Vis gear case oil in my 1984 800 drives or do somebody has suggestions?

I agree!! This "wizeazz" has got to go if this is considered helping. I've found 2 of these kind of remarks from him already today, and I just started reading. <br />If everybody knew all the answers before buying a boat, then we wouldn't need GREAT sites like this one, would we????<br /> <br />I had the same question when I got my 800, and was told that the good marine sae90 at our local auto store (Canadian Tire for us northern boys) would do the trick nicely.

lahnlubba and jawzzy---I didn't want to say anything until after the Illustrious MOD2 took care of IT.Usually if you just ignore the "less than helpful"the MODS will take care of them pretty quickly.Happy Boating.
