Just bought a 1989 Hurricanne deckboat(sd196). Recent complete rebuild(engine, lower, paint, carpet, upholstery). 2nd time on water the trim quit working. Luckily, it was as I was pulling it out of the water and had enough clearance to get it home. Researched the parts, says there should be an in-line 50 amp fuse, but of course there isn't one on mine(looks like someone along the line cut it out and spliced with a lot of tape). Any pointers on any other fuses? Checked the ones under the dash too, and everything still works when I turn the key. When I say quit, there is no noise from the motor or any change on the dash voltmeter (it usually dropped when I activated the trim switch). Any fuses in the relay on the side of the motor itself? Still waiting for Jasper to get back to me on any paperwork they have on this thing, any help would be appreciated.
