Hi,
I have water in all six cylinders and in the oil pan. The oil is still clear, not mixed with the water. It bent the #2 rod and locked up the motor.
When I pulled the plugs, all kinds of water came out, all six. How can so much water get in so quickly? Any help anyone can give will be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks, but I have taken the entire engine apart, with no visible cracks or leakage. The block, intake, heads and manifolds are getting pressure checked now. How would a riser or manifold problem get such a lot of water (1/2 gal) in the oil? Have you, or anyone else, heard of this motor running backwards? This is the only thing I can think of that would provide such a huge amount of water so quickly. Thanks for the response. Any help is welcome.

Dieseling (Running backwards) can happen any time the rpm is too high, the timing is off, the engine is hot (not overheated, but after a good hard run), and being overheated, even just needing a tuneup, or the carb being set way too lean. Just to name a few of the possiblilities. If it is dieseling hard enough, yes it can bend rods, and the water can pass the rings and get into the oil. Especially when all cylinders are full.
That sounds like long rounds of high rpm dieseling.
